KBS Aerosol Top Coater is a superior single part (1K) coating formulated to be sprayed, offering maximum coverage and professional results. This product is an ideal exterior top coat paint for RustSeal when the area will be consistently exposed to sunlight. KBS Aerosol Top Coater is a high solids paint that does not run or sag, and provides twice the coverage of conventional 1K paints.

Aerosol Top Coater Coverage Area

Note: As a general rule for most applications, 2 coats of KBS Aerosol Top Coater are usually ideal.

A quart should coat up to 175 sq. ft. with 1 coat coverage and 90 sq. ft. with 2 coat coverage. A Gallon of KBS Top Coater should coat up to 700 sq. ft. with 1 coat coverage. For two coats, this changes to 350 square feet. 5 Gallon Pails of KBS Top Coater should coat up to 3500 square feet with 1 coat coverage, or 1750 sq. ft. with 2.

Material losses during mixing and application will vary and must be taken into consideration, but do not apply for the Aerosol top coater. Expect up to 50% less coverage on bare wood, rough or sandblasted surfaces. For these surfaces, take the lessened coverage into consideration when determining how many bottles you may need.
